Ekopyro Forest – Our Sustainability Initiative

At Ekopyro, we believe excitement and responsibility can go together. Every fireworks effect leaves a trace so we balance it with trees. That’s why we launched the long-term Ekopyro Forest project.

In Novoť, Slovakia, our entire team management, warehouse and admins came together and planted 1,000 trees. These young trees will grow for decades and stand as a reminder of our commitment to a more sustainable future.

???? Each year, these trees absorb roughly 20,000 kg of CO₂, helping reduce the footprint associated with fireworks. And Ekopyro Forest doesn’t stop here we plant more trees every year and expand the forest.

We are Slovakia’s first CO₂-neutral fireworks retailer: we rigorously measure our emissions, systematically cut them across logistics, operations, and packaging, and compensate the rest through Ekopyro Forest; we replant annually and transparently update our CO₂ report.

“Pyrotechnics are about energy, effects, and emotions. We wanted to turn that energy into something lasting the life of a new forest,” says the Ekopyro leadership.
